I am a mother of four, I have 3 boys and 1 girl. Our 2 younger boys struggle with a speech delay that we are working on. With that being said, things can get a bit chaotic around here and frustration levels rise. Living and learning with these boys and the speech delays has taught me patience and a whole new understanding that people see things in so many different ways. I am a stronger person because of this and feel blessed to have these little angels. I am married to a fabulous man and am living a happy life!

Trick or Treating on Halloween!

We had such a fun filled weekend with all of the fun Halloween activities!  The weather was perfect!  As I sit here early this morning writing this blog I can hear the rain pounding against the windows and the wind roaring by.  I am so happy the the storms are hitting us here AFTER our great outdoor weekend.
The kids were soooo excited to go trick or treating this year.  Gabe & Sebastian haven't  really understood the concept in previous years and Abby wasn't even 1 last year.  Austin decided he was too old this year to go so he stayed behind to pass out candy while Vinnie and I took the little kiddos.
Abby chose to be a cute little Monkey!  She had a ladybug costume, a fairy costume, and this Monkey costume which was Sebastian's a few years ago.
Gabe was a Dinosaur and Sebastian was Tigger.  The Tigger costume was Austin's way back when he was 3 years old!  I can't believe that I bought that costume 10 years ago!  Boy, time goes fast!  Austin enjoyed seeing Sebastian wear it because he remembers wearing it  :)
The funny thing is, Sebastian has no idea who Tigger is but he was sure excited to be a Tiger!  While we were out trick or treating kids would call out "Tigger" and he would say "Tiger".  So cute!

No matter how many times we try we just can't get them all to look at the camera at the same time.  I really need to start using photoshop and fake it  :)
They were so excited!  After each house they would say "go to the next house"
This was cool, the kids didn't even hesitate running into the "Haunted House".

They walked pretty far for their little legs!  We left the house around 6:15 and didn't get home until 7:30. We were about 1/2 a block away from home and they all started asking to go home,  by the time we were getting close to our street we were nearly dragging them home because they were so tired.
Once we got home Austin and his friend were outside trying to scare people, we told them that we saw a bunch of kids their age trick or treating and just wearing football jerseys.  They got excited and quickly threw on their jersey's, grabbed a pillowcase and ran out the door.  They were gone for about 30 min and came back with quite a bit of candy.  They said they were happy they went out.
All the kids had a great Halloween and now we have a ton of candy in this house which I am determined to avoid!  :)

Hope everyone had a great Halloween!
