Today I went to my Dad's to gather some coupons that he had collected for me. I had been out shopping all day and that was my last stop. I left around Kmart which was just up the street from my Dad's house and while driving to my Dad's I had my purse sitting on my lap. Normally, I put it on the floor behind the passenger seat, not this time though :( When I got there I hurry and set my purse on the passenger seat, locked the doors while setting the alarm and ran in to my Dad's house. About 15 min later (around 3:00 pm) I heard my alarm go off. I peaked out the window and didn't see anything so I just simply reset the alarm. About another 15 min later I left, when I got to my car I opened the driver side door to see glass everywhere! My first reaction was to look at my windshield and see if it was broken and that's when I noticed that the passenger window was shattered and my purse was gone! I freaked out and ran back into my Dad's screaming "my purse was stolen, my purse was stolen!" My Dad ran out told me to call the police immediately. Why is this happening, I kept thinking to myself. The police came and took all my information and of course felt it necessary to let me know how dumb I was to leave my purse on the front seat especially this time of year. This really could not have happened at a worse time, we are suppose to be leaving first thing in the morning to head to New Mexico. Now, I have no drivers license and we have a broken window. Ughhh! Looks like it is off to the DMV in the morning and the glass shop. Vinnie immediately called the glass shop and made an appt for first thing in the morning.
After the police left and I regained composure I started driving home and stopped at our insurance agency on the way home. I filed the claim for the window and had to sit there and listen to our agent tell me how dumb I was to leave my purse....I KNOW! Once, I got home I just completely broke down. I felt so completely violated and missed my silly things that were in my purse. The thieves only got away with about $60 in cash, I was able to cancel all of my cards and freeze my checking accounts.
The next morning I headed to the DMV first thing only to find out that after turning in my application I needed to wait 24 hours before getting a UT driver's license since I currently had and active Alaska license. *sigh* Oh well, I guess I won't be doing any of the driving on our road trip. Vinnie took the car in and got the window fixed and we were on the road by 3:00 that afternoon, only 8 hours behind our original plan....
What a pain! Definitely learned my lesson and what a hard lesson it was to learn!

- I am a mother of four, I have 3 boys and 1 girl. Our 2 younger boys struggle with a speech delay that we are working on. With that being said, things can get a bit chaotic around here and frustration levels rise. Living and learning with these boys and the speech delays has taught me patience and a whole new understanding that people see things in so many different ways. I am a stronger person because of this and feel blessed to have these little angels. I am married to a fabulous man and am living a happy life!

Babe to Tot?
My baby girl is no longer a "baby". She is a full on toddler! She is my dream come true, I have wanted her since I was a little girl. She is so perfect in so many ways. She is my girlie girl! I want time to stand still. WAIT, WHAT? DID I REALLY JUST SAY THAT? Let me clarify, I just think that these precious times go way too fast but I must admit there are certainly times that I DON'T want time to stand still because as I just said, she is a full on toddler with the 2 YR old attitude to boot! She is quite the little princess that's for sure! She has to have things her way or else. I had better get that under control and QUICK!
For her actual Birthday day we had a little family party here at home just the 6 of us. We were able to Skype with Grandma Marcie, Grandpa Chente, and Nina Tish. They were able to watch Abby open the gifts that they sent her.
For her Birthday cake, I did pink cupcakes. Her favorite color is pink.
She was completely into opening her presents, even when they were clothes. In my experience when kids get clothes they are quick to move on to the next gift. Not Abby! She would say "aww, beautiful shirt" (or whatever the clothing may have been)
and of course, jewelry. She loves jewelry!
Check out this super cute kitchen from Mommy & Daddy which she absolutely adores!
WHAT?! WHAT DO YOU MEAN WE ARE DONE?
(just kidding, I don't remember what she was crying about)
Happy 2nd Birthday to our Baby girl, who will always be my baby!

~It's a 3 Way Birthday Party~
How to celebrate 3 Birthdays that are so close together...Have one big joint Family Birthday party!
We decided to take them to Classic Skating! Works out great for the gaps between ages. Bounce houses, to jungle gyms, to scooters, to roller skating/blading, to laser tag.
Fun for all ages! We had Nana, Grandpa Jim, Grandma Marci, Ingrid, Mia, Mark, Chandler, Noah, and of course close friends of ours; Kristy and her kiddos and Sam (Serina had to work) with his kiddos.
Sebastian's Birthday is November 10th, Abby's is November 19th, and Austin's is November 28th. Busy busy month!
Happy Birthday to 3 of my babies!
We thought it would be fun to do a personal cake for
the 3 of them and this is what we came up with.
Told you it was fun for all ages...There's Vinnie playing in the bounce house! :)

Is he really already 4?
I just can't believe that my little Sebastian is already 4. I know I say this with every birthday that passes by but I just really can't believe how fast the time goes! Our baby boy is not such a baby anymore!
November is a busy month for us! We have 3 Birthday's this month, the 10th, 19th, & 28th. For Sebastian's Birthday we decided to do a small little family party at Chuck E. Cheese. Of course it was the 6 of us and then Grandma Marci, Nana, and Grandpa Jim. The kids had such a great time and kept us all on our toes!
Sebastian is very difficult when it comes to eating. He has his very few "staples" that he ALWAYS eats. One of them being Cookies & Creme Kellogg's Pop Tarts every morning for breakfast. I didn't know if he would try his birthday cake because in the past he has not. I decided to make his cake look like his Pop Tart..

It worked! He was super excited!
I think we re-lit the candles atleast 5 more times just so they could blow the out again.
Time for some presents...
and then time for some play...
Who does't love Skee Ball?
Sebastian was so proud of himself and kept yelling
"I DID IT, I DID IT!!"
Austin enjoyed shooting some hoops..
and then of course he helped Gabe cash in our tickets...
Fun was had by all!
Happy Birthday Sebastian!

Trick or Treating on Halloween!
We had such a fun filled weekend with all of the fun Halloween activities! The weather was perfect! As I sit here early this morning writing this blog I can hear the rain pounding against the windows and the wind roaring by. I am so happy the the storms are hitting us here AFTER our great outdoor weekend.
The kids were soooo excited to go trick or treating this year. Gabe & Sebastian haven't really understood the concept in previous years and Abby wasn't even 1 last year. Austin decided he was too old this year to go so he stayed behind to pass out candy while Vinnie and I took the little kiddos.
Abby chose to be a cute little Monkey! She had a ladybug costume, a fairy costume, and this Monkey costume which was Sebastian's a few years ago.
Gabe was a Dinosaur and Sebastian was Tigger. The Tigger costume was Austin's way back when he was 3 years old! I can't believe that I bought that costume 10 years ago! Boy, time goes fast! Austin enjoyed seeing Sebastian wear it because he remembers wearing it :)
The funny thing is, Sebastian has no idea who Tigger is but he was sure excited to be a Tiger! While we were out trick or treating kids would call out "Tigger" and he would say "Tiger". So cute!
No matter how many times we try we just can't get them all to look at the camera at the same time. I really need to start using photoshop and fake it :)
They were so excited! After each house they would say "go to the next house"
This was cool, the kids didn't even hesitate running into the "Haunted House".
They walked pretty far for their little legs! We left the house around 6:15 and didn't get home until 7:30. We were about 1/2 a block away from home and they all started asking to go home, by the time we were getting close to our street we were nearly dragging them home because they were so tired.
Once we got home Austin and his friend were outside trying to scare people, we told them that we saw a bunch of kids their age trick or treating and just wearing football jerseys. They got excited and quickly threw on their jersey's, grabbed a pillowcase and ran out the door. They were gone for about 30 min and came back with quite a bit of candy. They said they were happy they went out.
All the kids had a great Halloween and now we have a ton of candy in this house which I am determined to avoid! :)
Hope everyone had a great Halloween!
