I am a mother of four, I have 3 boys and 1 girl. Our 2 younger boys struggle with a speech delay that we are working on. With that being said, things can get a bit chaotic around here and frustration levels rise. Living and learning with these boys and the speech delays has taught me patience and a whole new understanding that people see things in so many different ways. I am a stronger person because of this and feel blessed to have these little angels. I am married to a fabulous man and am living a happy life!

Happy Easter!

The kids woke up to their normal candy trail leading them from their rooms to their Easter baskets.  It's always such a surprise to them to walk out of their rooms and see candy all over the floor.  They almost don't know what to do.
They found their baskets and immediately started going thru them and then looking at what each other had in theirs.  They quickly discovered that there were 3 more baskets waiting for them on the dining room table.  (Grandma and Grandpa left those out for them)

After that we all got ready to go to Church.  As soon as Abby was ready she wanted to use her new camera that came in her basket.
After Church we headed off to the park for an Easter Egg hunt.  Aunties, Uncle, Grandma, Grandpa, and cousins went a little bit before we did so they could hide all of the eggs.

Easter Eggs!!!

We decided to spend our Easter holiday in Deming, NM with the Almanza's.  We decided to drive the entire 14 hours so we could spend more time with the family.  Normally we drive 6 1/2 hours to  Cortez, Co., stay the night and then drive the remaining 7 1/2 hours the next day.  The kids did great driving straight thru and we decided that is definitely the way to go from now on!  We arrived late Thursday night and then relaxed the next day.  Saturday morning Abby and her Nina Tish baked Easter cupcakes and then Auntie Sandra came over and we all decorated the cupcakes.

Shortly after that it was time to color Easter eggs!
Mom and Dad even had fun coloring eggs!
soon everyone was joining in...
Uncle Alex, Isaiah, Alexis, Grandma Marcie, Nina Tish, Auntie Sandra, Grandpa, and Uncle Sid.
They had so much fun with the neon colors and they were disappointed when we ran out of eggs to color.  They went to bed soon after so they could wake up and see what the Easter bunny left them.
