My photo
I am a mother of four, I have 3 boys and 1 girl. Our 2 younger boys struggle with a speech delay that we are working on. With that being said, things can get a bit chaotic around here and frustration levels rise. Living and learning with these boys and the speech delays has taught me patience and a whole new understanding that people see things in so many different ways. I am a stronger person because of this and feel blessed to have these little angels. I am married to a fabulous man and am living a happy life!

4th Of July Fun!

We had a great family day for the 4th of July.   First we went to the West Jordan parade.  It was so hot and so bright, fortunately there was a Walgreens right behind us and we were able to run in and buy some umbrella's.
The kids had fun watching the motorcycles and low rider cars...
I love the way Abby is sitting back in her chair here...
This picture shows Sebastian's tough attitude perfectly!
After the parade was over we headed up to Snowbird Ski Resort for the day to do some fun summer activities.  We started out on the trampolines.  It was quite a long wait in line but the kids did pretty good being patient.

After that it was time to go play on the Alpine Slide...
Riding the chairlift to the top..
We took the kids on the Mountain Glider, Gabe was a little unsure at first as we flew through the sky backward to the top of the hill.  Once we reached the top and started flying down the hill, he loved it!
We then took a Peruvian chairlift to the top and walked around up there for a little bit.  Huge chairlift, long ride.  Daddyo rode with Sebastian on the way up while I rode with the other 3.  Then Gabe and Sebastian switched for the ride down.

Austin took Sebastian in the tunnel that goes through the mountain.  It was so chilly in there.
Can't believe how big my Austin is getting!  He is one good lookin' kid!
As we were leaving we noticed that we were driving by "Austin Pond" so of course we pulled over and I made the poor kid go stand by the pond so I could get a picture of Austin standing by Austin Pond.  He was very reluctant.  LOL!
Abby had so much fun today, she wore herself out!
Love my family!

Done with Kindergarten already?

Just can't believe that my little Gabey Gabe is heading into the 1st grade.  He had an amazing year in Kindergarten with Teacher Emily.  What an amazing, patient, caring person.  It takes a very special person to work with people with special needs and she is definitely that person!  We have been so lucky to have her!  Gabe loves school and really loved his teacher and the teacher assistants this year.  We are really sad and maybe even a bit scared to move on to another teacher.  Gabe will be going to a new school next year with a new teacher.

 Teacher Emily :)
Proud of you Gabe!

Field Trip!

Gabe's class went on a field trip to the Children's Discovery Museum at the Gateway.  I surprised Gabe and showed up at his school to join them.  He was in computer lab when I snuck in.
He was so excited when he saw me!
He thought it was really cool that I went on the bus with him.
When we got there they divided the kids up into groups and put colored vests on them.  We went to different area's of the museum for an allotted amount of time.  There was so much to see and do there.  I really enjoyed watching Gabe explore everything and learn how things worked.
Even checking out the doghouse....LOL!
This was really cool, you would put the ball in the pipe and air would blow it up and it would travel thru a pipe maze and come out the other end.
There was a play farm, fire truck, water contraptions...
He played a fireman and a construction worker
Building blocks on a vibrating plate....
He even got to be a news anchor and a weather man!  He love seeing himself on the screen!
Once the field trip was over Gabe and I decided to take Trax home instead of riding the school bus back to his school.  He thought that was pretty cool too.
What a fun day with my Gabey Gabe!

He lost another tooth!

Gabe lost his 2nd tooth.  Well actually he didn't really lose it, I had to pull it out.  That is the 1st tooth I have ever pulled and and it gave me the heebee jeebees!  Vinnie always takes care of that kinda stuff all the way since Austin lost his 1st tooth BUT he was out of town this time and it was driving Gabe nuts! Gabe kept telling me he had an ouey and wanted me to kiss it better.  Turns out his tooth was super loose.  I grabbed a paper towel, folded it, grabbed his tooth and pulled it out.  When I was done he said "that's better".

He's a Leader!!!

I knew it!  I knew my little guy was Leader!  Gabe came home from school so proud of himself today.  He was excited to show me his award that he had received.  Of course I cried, I was so happy and proud of my Gabey!
